Snowfall Press was organized for the purpose of creating a network of distributed print-on-demand facilities to enable local printing of books. The Company enables books that were previously inaccessible due to a lack of concentrated demand, to cost effectively enter either small target markets or markets with consumers geographically dispersed.
Snowfall Press has access to technology that eliminates the manual setup and testing components that characterize both current print-on-demand providers as well as provide a system to connect print orders with a distributed network of print facilities. Snowfall Press will operate a system of print nodes. These print nodes will be strategically placed globally to best maximize coverage of evolving markets. In addition, the presence of proprietary software to manage the distributed delivery aspects of the overall solution insures scalability and the infrastructure to deliver content where it’s needed, when it’s needed, in the required languages.
