Book-of-one? What’s that? Ah, thanks for asking.

At its core it means if you want just one book printed we print just one book and send it wherever you want it sent. We make a little profit and we believe, based on our prices, you should be able to make a profit too.

In a broader way it means we print exactly what you need…at very compelling prices. Gone are the days when you have to print large quantities of books to get the price point you want per book. The fact is, many times when you buy a lot of books to get a good price per book you do not end up selling all the books…now what does that do to your price per book? Well, it means your price just went up, so why get on that track at the start. If you need five books then print five books. If you need 500 books, print 500. And if you want one, you already know what the answer is.

Short Run Printing
While printing books one at a time is important, many times you need more…but you are still not ready for offset printing.  What you need is short run printing and Snowfall Press is uniquely capable of printing book runs of 50 to hundreds with the same speed and quality of the micro runs. In fact, if you need larger quantities and know in advance where they are going, we can split up the printing between our facilities in order to keep shipping cost at a minimum.

Long Run Printing
Few printers can print just one book for you and then quickly turn that into hundreds and thousands of books. Our capabilities let you start small, micro small if you want, and as your line of books becomes more popular we can switch you over to our offset machines. Then, as demand starts to wane, the switch back to digital on-demand printing can be made. At every place along the life-cycle curve you are in control.
