Printing: Quick Overview
You have spent months working on your manuscript, you have designed a killer cover, you have been doing advance marketing for months…you are now ready for printing. In the next section we will discuss in detail how to upload your book and print it, but the more simple answer looks like this:
- Set up an account (click here to set up account)
- Upload two PDF/X1-A files: one for the cover and one for the text
- Print and review a proof copy. We strongly suggest you first print a proof (an actual book), review the proof, make changes if needed, and print another proof if needed. Many times it is easier to see typos and/or design flaws in a hard copy form compared to seeing it online. Snowfall Press is under no obligation to reprint books if a proof was not done before printing the full quantity you desire. Once you have done this, you are ready for number 4.
- Print the quantity you want and ship to yourself or directly to your end user customer.
NOTE: While many times we print your book on the day it is ordered, we do not guarantee this will happen every time you print a book. Please leave three business days for printing, plus shipping transit time, to ensure you get your books when you need them.
